About Tenacity Entertainment

Tenacity is an independent executive production house dedicated to providing outstanding entertainment to world-wide audiences. From idea to audience, Tenacity Entertainment creates, develops, licenses & distributes compelling content for traditional and new media channels, big-screen and home entertainment, in-game advertising (iga), mobile, desktop and console devices.

Objective

Tenacity Entertainment engaged Ikonic Tonic to develop a brand steeped with the founder’s Nordic roots – an identity that breathed strength and tenacity in battle.

Approach

The brand refresh went far beyond a new logo, colors, business cards and standards. The new identity had to be versatile, bold, and able to live seamlessly across print, online, film, network and cable TV, and new media channels. Branding a company with two decades in the film and TV industry, producing 1000’s of hours of content of a wide variety of services, Ikonic Tonic had to dig deep to hone Tenacity’s messaging and position them properly in their four service categories: Feature films, documentaries, live and scripted TV, and live events.

Results

Ikonic Tonic provided clear and concise brand and content strategy for Tenacity Entertainment. Quick-read copy was written to refine their previous verbose approach. The identity design requirements were given to us and could not deviate from the client’s request to align with the founder’s Norse heritage, ultimately driving the Fantasy Viking Double-Head Axe design that creates the “T” in “Tenacity.” We relied heavily on building the online narrative around the film, TV, and live event media produced by Tenacity Entertainment. The production reel required planning and foresight in order to tell a visually compelling brand story. Our voice overs gave the reel the auditory experience an audience watching an action-packed film tailer would expect. We brought logo to life with motion graphics to be used in all Tenacity Entertainment productions.
