By tearing down stigmatic, in-the-box barriers that exist in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, we aligned Vault’s vision with a timeless, sustainable identity that included a complete brand refresh, new website design and development, messaging, positioning, video production, and set the visual, technology, and marketing standards critical for Vault to align the brand standards with their brand promise. The new brand simplified and repositioned Vault across all brand channels allowing audiences to engage in a deeper, longer look at how Vault is different in philosophy, approach, process and outcome. The visual appeal created a competitive advantage over leading firms that currently dominate the marketplace while not deviating too far from industry expectations, ultimately creating the more “edgy” sweet spot between form and function.
Ikonic’s work caught the attention of one of Vault’s clients, a Top 20 big pharma company. They were looking to examine fresh creative advertising concepts to compete against their existing agency of record. Vault and Ikonic’s strategic, creative collaboration resulted in 3 of the 4 campaigns selected for inclusion in the round of testing. Of those put into testing, two of our concepts continuously outperformed other options. Ultimately, the winning Global HCP campaign, based on strong performance across multiple markets, customer types and specialties, and in support of global brand objectives, was one produced by Ikonic Tonic in just three week’s time.
Vault brought Ikonic in to work with another of their clients in order to gain a perspective from outside the traditional biotech and pharma industry. Ikonic helped Vault and their client develop the strategy, craft the story, and connect the dots between science, finance and creative for their investor decks. From clinical data to market analysis, messaging to medical illustrations depicting mechanisms of action (MOA), Ikonic worked closely with both teams of clinical, regulatory, commercialization, and business development professionals to redefine, hone, and introduce the ground-breaking biotech company to potential investors.
