About Duran Duran
Do they really need any introduction? The British new wave pop band formed in 1978 has done it all. Forty years later, they are still playing to sold out audiences around the world. Duran Duran transcends music. Their iconic sound has not only withstood the test of time, but defined an entire generation. Synthesizers and software used in today’s music owes homage to Nick Rhodes. Duran Duran’s “View to a Kill” was the only James Bond theme song to have reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. Four decades later, their performances still leave fans wanting more.
Results
A successful launch of a Duran Duran side project led to a two-year relationship working with one of the world’s most iconic bands culminating with the release of “Paper Gods” on Warner Music Group’s label. Designing clean and bold revolving landing pages for duranduran.com and the development done for TV Mania Music gave the band, their management, Warner Music Group and Shazam the confidence that we could develop the robust application with a scalable architecture to support massive traffic bursts over a 5 minute period during a live, televised performance.
